Pine Knoll Hotel Lakeside Lodge & Cabin, Old Forge

This hotel is a gem! The rooms are beautifully decorated Adirondack style with lovely wood furniture, making them cozy and inviting. The service was outstanding, with thoughtful extras in the room and top-notch housekeeping. The location is excellent, providing easy access to the lake and the Old Forge center. Dining here is a treat with delicious aged USDA prime steaks, showcasing top-notch quality. However, the facilities could use a bit of a boost to match the overall experience.

The hotel is located right on the lake, offering a peaceful setting with easy access to a park on the lake and close proximity to the center of town in Old Forge. The rooms feature rustic furniture and come with private balconies furnished with Adirondack furniture, adding a cozy touch. Some small extras enhance the room experience; however, the dining, although offering fresh cheese bread, could use more variety. Overall, the service is excellent, with attentive housekeeping and pet amenities available. The facilities are satisfactory, and the value for money is reasonable, considering the convenient location.
